The 2010 BC Summer Games will be held in Langley, BC July 22-25, 2010. Both Box and Field Lacrosse are showcased during these Games. If you are a Field or Box Lacrosse Player born during the years 1994/1995/1996, the opportunity is available for you to try out for your Zone to participate in the 2010 BC Summer Games.

Always a positive, once-in-a-lifetime experience, the BC Summer Games is a highly anticipated event as it gives our box and field lacrosse athletes, coaches, referees and volunteers a great opportunity to experience the Games. This high profile event provides a healthy competitive environment while showcasing our game of Lacrosse to the Province of BC. 

To try out for your Zone Field Lacrosse Team, you must have been registered in the 2009-2010 Field Lacrosse Season, and you must have been born in 1995 or 1996.

To try out for your Zone Box Lacrosse Team, you must be registered in the 2010 Box Lacrosse Season, and you must have been born in 1994 or 1995. For players born in 1994 only, there is an added opportunity with this year's Summer Games as the identification and tryouts for the Team BC Midget Box Lacrosse provincial team going to Nationals are held during and immediately following the Games. Participation in the Box Summer Games is a pre-requisite for participation on Team BC Midget.

Attached are the respective registration forms. The Deadline for Field Lacrosse is April 8, 2010. The Deadline for Box Lacrosse is May 6, 2010. Attached to this e-mail is a list of the BC Provincial Zones for BC Summer Games. Please note that you can only apply for one discipline - either field or box lacrosse.
